Our Vision for Forest School
At Kington St Michael Primary School Forest school is a valued part of our curriculum that inspires children to learn through nature, exploration and creativity. We believe every child should have the opportunity to grow in confidence, independence and resilience through hands -on outdoor experiences.
Forest School supports all learners including those with additional needs by providing a safe, inclusive environment where children can take risks, solve problems and work together through carefully planned activities. Through this approach we aim to help children develop socially, emotionally and academically to become curious, capable and well-rounded individuals.
