We are thrilled to announce a Star Gazing Night in partnership with Bath Astronomers on Thursday 4th December! This special after-school event will begin at 5:30pm and finish at 7:00pm — a truly magical evening for our budding explorers of the night sky.
Children will have the chance to:

Step inside a dome planetarium

Create their own paper lanterns and rockets

Enjoy real stargazing through state-of-the-art telescopes
Schools in the local area who have hosted this event before have said how incredible the experience is and we can’t wait to bring it to our pupils!
We are asking for a voluntary contribution of £2 per child to help towards the cost of the event — payment is available on ScoPay. The contribution also includes a hot dog for each child — perfect for a cosy evening of stargazing!
This really is a brilliant opportunity, and we hope every child will be able to join us for this wonderful evening of science, creativity, and discovery.
We’re delighted that the Friends of KSM are once again supporting this event using funds raised through community efforts such as the Litter Pick and other fundraisers throughout the year. It’s a perfect example of how your generosity helps us create unique, hands-on learning experiences that children will remember for years to come.
